Yarn dye - JACQUARD dye set with citric acid for protein fibers like silk, wool and nylon

Jacquard produces high-quality and professional dyes for all types of fabrics and textiles.
Jacquard acid dye can be used to dye wool and other animal fibers such as feathers and silk, but it is also suitable for dyeing nylon.
This product is perfect if you want to dye, for example, skeins of wool yarn, as it provides a completely clear and color-fast result.

This dye consists of only two ingredients: a highly concentrated powdered dye and an inert salt. It can be easily mixed with water. In order for the dyes to adhere well to the fibers and ensure color fastness, acid dye requires an acidic environment. Therefore, citric acid or vinegar must be added during the dyeing process.

Jacquard acid dye absorbs well into the fibers. There is no need to worry about the colors fading or bleeding during washing. It can also be used for direct dyeing or printing by selecting the steam setting on the iron.
