Alpaca Storm /Viking Yarn

Viking Alpaca Storm is a luxurious and soft yarn that combines 40% ultra-fine alpaca, 40% merino wool and 20% nylon. This unique blend provides an incredibly light and soft quality. A very well and thoughtfully combined composition for universal, everyday wear products - sweaters, hats, gloves, even socks. It does not sting even for especially sensitive people and children.

Alpaca gives warmth, softness, a more flowing fall, and a slight fluffiness.

Merino: also warm and soft, but creates a more defining stitch pattern and structure.

The 20% nylon in the knit is not felt, but it does its job - the product lasts longer and holds the alpaca and merino, which are prone to stretching, in place.
